These Terms & Conditions (“T&C”) govern the use of our website and participation in our treks, tours, and related services. By using this website and/or booking a trip with Sabanero Horse Ventures (“we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to these terms in full. Please read them carefully.

1. Website Use
• Our website is intended for use by individuals 18 years or older. By using the website, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into binding agreements.
• You agree not to misuse the website by introducing viruses, harmful content, or attempting unauthorized access.
• We may suspend or cancel accounts or refuse service to anyone who violates these terms or misuses our site.

2. Payments & Reservations
• Reservations require a 30% deposit to confirm; the balance is due 30 days before departure.
• Payment methods accepted: major credit cards, wire transfer, or other secure methods displayed at checkout.
• Prices are subject to change, but once booked and confirmed, your rate is locked.

3. Modifications to Services
• We may update, modify, or discontinue parts of our offerings (including treks, activities, or website features) at any time.
• Guests will be informed of material changes affecting confirmed bookings.

4. Refunds & Cancellations
• Cancellations by guests follow our Refund Policy (linked separately).
• If we must cancel due to safety, weather, or unforeseen circumstances, you may receive a full refund or future credit.

5. Health, Safety & Responsibility
• Horseback riding and adventure activities involve inherent risks. By booking, you accept these risks and agree not to hold Sabanero Horse Ventures liable for accidents, injuries, or damages except in cases of proven negligence.
• Guests must disclose relevant medical conditions or dietary restrictions at the time of booking.
• We reserve the right to deny participation if health, fitness, or behavior may put the guest, horses, or group at risk.

6. Warranties & Disclaimers
• Our services are provided “as is,” and while we ensure the highest standards of safety, hospitality, and horse care, we make no absolute guarantees that every service will be free from interruption or error.
• We are not responsible for delays or changes caused by weather, natural events, or third-party providers.

7. Intellectual Property
• All content on our website (logos, text, images, videos, designs, itineraries) is the intellectual property of Sabanero Horse Ventures or its partners.
• You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute this content without written permission.

8. Guest Conduct
• Guests are expected to behave respectfully toward guides, staff, fellow participants, communities, and animals.
• Any disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful conduct may result in removal from the trek without refund.

9. Governing Law
• These T&C are governed by the laws of Costa Rica. Any disputes shall be handled by Costa Rican courts.

10. Updates to Terms
• We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will take effect once published on our website.
