A legal disclaimer
At Sabanero Horse Ventures, every trek is carefully planned with limited spaces, handpicked accommodations, and well-prepared horses.
Because of the nature of our journeys, we apply the following cancellation and refund terms:
Reservations & Deposits
A deposit of 30% of the total trip cost is required to confirm your reservation.
The balance is due 30 days before the trek start date.
Changes & Cancellations
By the Guest
More than 60 days before departure: Full refund of deposit, less a 10% administrative fee.
• 31–59 days before departure: 50% refund of deposit.
• 15–30 days before departure: 50% of total trip cost refunded.
• 14 days or less before departure / no-show: No refund available.
By Sabanero Horse Ventures
In the unlikely event that we must cancel a trek (due to safety, extreme weather, or unforeseen circumstances), guests may choose between:
• A full refund of payments made, or
• A credit to rebook the trek within 12 months.
Rebooking & Early Departures

Guests may request to change trek dates up to 45 days before departure, subject to availability.
Date changes made within 44 days of departure may incur additional costs due to supplier commitments.
​Early Departures
No refunds are given for unused services, meals, or activities if a guest leaves a trek early by personal choice.
Travel Insurance : We strongly recommend guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and travel interruptions.
